Father John Cojanu, abbot of the monastery St. John the Baptist in Alba Iulia, was present Sunday, March 7 in the middle of the Romanian community who attended the religious service at Church of Bredäng-Stockholm.

The renowed Romanian pianist, Radu Lupu will perform a piano recital on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 8.00 pm at the Music Center at Strathmore, in Bethesda, MD. The concert is organized by the Washington Performing Arts Society and it is the first concert of the artist in Washington, DC in the last 16 years.  Program: Janácek: In the Mist, Beethoven: Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57, "Appassionata" , Schubert: Sonata in A Major, D.959.
